Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Most people who make donations to deductible gift recipients see a tax benefit in their tax return. On 13 April 2012, the eviDent Foundation received a notice of endorsement as a deductible gift recipient under subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (1.1.6-charitable institution whose principal activity is to promote the prevention or the control of diseases in human beings).
